Tools

With an increasing focus on public health and the environment, the use of fossil fuels is under intensifying scrutiny, and legislation is already putting the squeeze on petrol.

From day 1 we have invested in commercial grade battery operated tooling from EGO and wherever possible these tools are our go to choice. Our range of EGO Power + tools have less noise, less vibration, no fuss, no fumes and petrol-matching power - without the need for petrol.

Ocassionaly for larger jobs we do have to reach for the petrol powered tools (chippers, stump grinders and larger saws) but this is becoming less and less often as the Lithium-Ion technology improves.

Waste disposal

As an Environment Agency registered waste carrying company (Registration number CBDL383602), you can be assured waste removed from your garden is disposed of in the correct manner.

The green waste that we collect in the course of our daily work is disposed of and recycled at Forth Resource Management at Todd Hills in Edinburgh.

Vehicles

We currently run a Euro 6 complient diesel vehicle as the electric options (EV) do not have the towing/carrying capacity required for commercial use. As soon as this changes we will be looking seriously at an EV.
